Man arrested after ketamine, cannabis, cash and knife found at flat

A man has been arrested after officers found drugs, a knife and cash in Tamworth.

At 1.20pm on Friday (5 September), members of our major and organised crime proactive teams searched a flat in the town and seized the items.

A 31-year-old man, from the Tamworth area, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis), possession of ketamine and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been released on bail while our enquiries continue.
